WRK by The Optimist - A coffee shop for everyone

Social Media Management + Content Creation + Influencer Stategy

THE GOALS

WRK opened this past December and needed help marketing their new coffee shop entirely from scratch. They had two requests for their social media:

  • Separate their branding from their Sister location - The Optimist

  • Showcase their space as a WFH friendly coffee shop for everyone

THE PLAN

  • Subtly incorporate brand colors through things that already exist within the coffee shop - furniture, architecture, drinks

  • Implement an no-cost influencer marketing strategy to encourage media coverage and create excitement

  • Focus on lifestyle content over corporate style content

THE RESULTS

In one month WRK’s Instagram page:

  • Reached 90,000 accounts

  • Gained 1,780 followers

  • Average a 15% engagement rate on posts

Love Letter - an east coast event series dedicated to all things we love

Love Letter is an event series I co-founded with the purpose of bringing together women to meet new people, try new experiences, and discover new brands.

I am in charge of all of the marketing and social media for our events as well as co-planning and organizing PR sponsors and vendors.

Since Love Letter started we have:

  • Sold out every event (300+ tickets)

  • Gained over 10k on all platforms

  • Reached over 400k+ accounts

  • Partnered with multiple large brands including Black Bough Swim, ESW Beauty, Candier, and Vacation Inc.

GOALS

The Optimist wanted their Instagram to show off their unique and friendly environment while staying consistent with their branding.

AFTER

ISSUES

  • No time to manage socials while running their two shops and preparing for a third

  • Inconsistency in photography and editing creating unclear branding

  • Feed does not communicate “friendly neighborhood coffee shop”

THE FIX

I revived The Optimist’s feed with a refreshing new color scheme and layout to help establish their brand image. We were able to reconnect with the community by creating content with their audience in mind.

Content Creation Session

THE NEED

Decree Company was weeks away from launching a new app and needed help with creating content not only for the promotion of their app but to also show potential new clients what Decree is all about.

THE TASK

We opted for an in-person Content Session. This included 6 high-quality short form videos and 6 photo sets all edited for Instagram and sent to Decree Company, allowing them to focus more time on other areas of their business.
